During the preceding week the APCOA wardens in their blue and green uniforms will be on patrol around the County issuing just warning notices.
We are informed that there will be no amnesty for residents overstaying any one or two hour limits on-street after this time.
That is not a good result for Stamford. Wait for the congestion to rise as people keep moving their cars around every hour to avoid the fines, and unhappy residents outside the restricted parking areas who won't be able to find spaces near their homes either.
