The Latest from South Kesteven District Council
In an email to one of the campaigners in central Stamford on 21 August, SKDC Leader Mrs Neal said:
"The Council will, in the next few weeks, be commencing consultation with residents’ groups etc that we are aware of regarding the make up of schemes across the district in the hope that any schemes proposed are acceptable to residents. This will not include a direct mailing to your property. That will come sometime later when schemes have been devised. Please be assured that you will have every opportunity to give your feedback."
It is odd that she has chosen to break this news to just one of our number and not to tell anyone else.
Anyway, I guess we should at least breathe a sigh of relief that something which we've been waiting 8 months for is now going to be done "in the next few weeks" ....
